Are you ready to take on a dynamic role that ensures we hit our commercial goals and revenue targets? We're looking for a Pricing Manager on a 12 Month FTC who can bring their expertise to support our Senior Pricing Manager in creating and managing rail products. You'll make sure everything works smoothly, from how products appear in different channels and journey planners, to how they're issued to customers, used at ticket barriers, and settled through industry systems.

In this role, you'll implement agreed pricing options, help model revenue effects, and make smart recommendations to optimise revenue and tackle any pricing issues. Plus, you'll ensure everything is compliant with regulatory and legal requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate: Ensure ticketing systems deliver accurate outputs, including product creation and maintenance.
  • Support: Provide relevant information and tools to maximise revenue opportunities and deliver high-quality customer service.
  • Coordinate: Work with Senior Pricing Manager and PMO to ensure timely, clear, and accurate communication to relevant colleagues.
  • Resolve Anomalies: Identify and address any issues with ticketing to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Deliver Analysis: Provide data-driven insights to support pricing and revenue initiatives.
  • Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders.

Who we're looking for:

  • Revenue and Pricing Expertise: Extensive experience in revenue management within large, complex organisations, with a strategic understanding of pricing and yield management disciplines.
  • Team and Relationship Building: Proven ability to work within teams to drive performance improvements and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Industry Knowledge and Analytical Skills: In-depth knowledge of the transport industry, coupled with strong analytical skills to manage pricing, distribution, and revenue management.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to manage conflicting demands, challenge assumptions, and solve problems effectively.
  • Qualifications and Dynamic Approach: Holds a numerical degree or equivalent experience in technical pricing, with a dynamic and enthusiastic approach to tackling complex issues.
