Are you a results-driven leader with a passion for revenue management and customer satisfaction? Look no further! We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Revenue Manager.
Fixed term contract until June 2025
In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of analysts to drive revenue across our routes. This includes implementing revenue management best practices to maximize revenue and occupancy for each service, while also managing overcrowding to ensure a positive customer experience.
As a key member of our commercial team, you will work collaboratively with other functions to develop and deliver a holistic and customer-centric commercial plan. Your leadership and focus on driving results will play a crucial role in achieving our company's revenue goals and enhancing our customer experience
Key responsibilities:
- Ensuring that each region delivers and exceeds the revenue target through the development and management of the revenue management strategies and analysis of data with a team of analysts
- Developing a high performing team, through coaching, mentoring and giving clear direction and focus, in order to analyse and communicate performance to rest of Commercial and the wider business
- Head up the relationship between Revenue Management and Operations/Customer Experience to provide holistic, data driven and customer first decision making at all levels
- Lead activity with internal and external data and systems suppliers to provide the team of Revenue Analysts with the correct tools and views to support informed decisions and deliver their expected tasks.
- Maintain strong relationships with the train planning, stations and on-board leadership teams in order to support timetable amendment proposals and business cases and ensure delivery of Revenue and yield actions
- Support and influence the wider commercial plan by developing, leading, and supporting specific initiatives to accelerate the return to travel as we emerge into the ‘new normal’ following the Covid-19 pandemic

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with excellent analytical and communication skills. You must also have a strong understanding of revenue management principles and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
