Job description

We are looking for an experienced and customer focused Ancillary Revenue Manager to lead the design, development and delivery of innovative station propositions across AWC‑managed stations. This is a high‑impact role, championing the customer while unlocking new and sustainable ancillary revenue opportunities across the business.

Working cross‑functionally, you will use data, insight and stakeholder collaboration to improve the end‑to‑end customer journey and realise future growth opportunities that align with our long‑term stations strategy.

What you will be doing:

  • Design, develop and implement compelling station propositions that enhance the customer experience while driving ancillary revenue growth across AWC‑managed stations.
  • Act as a customer champion, leading cross‑functional teams to use customer insight and data to identify opportunities to improve the end‑to‑end journey.
  • Work closely with the Customer Proposition Manager to develop station propositions that integrate commercial and marketing strategies, shareholder and stakeholder objectives, and align with WCPD Future Stations.
  • Collaborate with teams across the business to design, business‑case and prioritise station and ancillary revenue initiatives, ensuring proposals deliver the best possible outcome for customers and the business.
  • Co‑ordinate engagement strategies with station teams and Customer Experience (CX) delivery teams to support successful implementation.
  • Champion a strong partnership approach, engaging internal and external stakeholders to embed customer‑led proposition development.
  • Support and contribute to business communication strategies, ensuring colleagues are well informed and engaged with changes to proposition offers.
  • Develop and deliver strategies to maximise ancillary revenue opportunities across the business, monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in revenue management, commercial propositions, or customer‑led product development.
  • Strong ability to work cross‑functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrable experience using customer data and insight to shape propositions and improve journeys.
  • Experience developing business cases and prioritising initiatives in a complex environment.
  • Commercially astute with a passion for customer experience and innovation.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
