We have a great opportunity to join the Local Resource Controller - Talent Bank for our Resources team

This role can be based at various Location across the Network - Glasgow, Preston, Manchester, Wolverhampton and Euston.

The Resources team is vital to our success, playing a key role in the safe and efficient operation of our services.

As a Local Resource Controller, you will be an essential member of our team, creating effective and efficient rosters to meet business needs. By ensuring our trains are fully crewed, you will help Avanti push boundaries and set new standards for customer experience and operational excellence across our network. You will manage the day-to-day delivery of our timetables and resolve service disruptions, ensuring our crews and customers move seamlessly across our network.

As a Local Resource Controller you will: 

• Manage the on-board catering service during times of disruption acting as a representative of the Resources Operations Team.

• Communicate clearly, professionally, and promptly with frontline staff and depot teams.

• Develop and adopt measures to continuously improve the Customer Experience, improve performance and reduce costs.

• Consistently record all relevant information regarding the resourcing of West Coast services  in accordance with company policies
