FP&A Reporting Manager 

We’re looking for a FP&A Reporting Manager to lead the preparation and publication of both internal and external financial reports. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our reporting and forecasting is accurate, timely, and insightful, supporting internal stakeholders and external partners including the Department for Transport (DfT), Rail Division, and Group Finance.

This role can be based in either London or Birmingham.

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • DfT Reporting: Lead the consolidation, production, and variance analysis of periodic management reports for the Department for Transport (DfT), ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Forecasting & budgeting: Lead & manage SAP BPC forecasting, budgeting, and the Annual Business Plan (ABP) submissions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Deliver the Rail Business Review pack and communicate key financial insights in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement & Projects: Drive enhancements in financial reporting through benchmarking, ad hoc projects, and process improvements.

What You’ll Bring 

  • Analytical Excellence: You’ll be confident working with complex data sets and can turn numbers into meaningful insights.
  • Technical Know-How: Strong UK GAAP knowledge and finance reporting tools such as SAP BPC and/or Oracle.
  • Qualifications: At least 2 years post-qualified (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) with proven experience in management reporting and financial, planning and analysis.
