We’re seeking someone with experience in a Business Analyst role who is excited about making a genuine impact  improving the way our railway works for customers, colleagues, and communities. This is your chance to play a key role in shaping smarter systems, better journeys, and more innovative ways of working.

  • Partnering with teams to identify improvement opportunities and define change requirements

  • Working closely with Project Managers and stakeholders to support project delivery

  • Creating and reviewing business requirements, specifications, and processes

  • Analysing complex systems and data to identify insights and improvements

  • Developing functional and system design specifications

  • Designing and supporting test plans, including unit and user acceptance testing

  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business goals

  • Championing innovation and helping improve the customer experience

We’re looking for someone who enjoys both big-picture thinking and detailed analysis.

 

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Experience working as a Business Analyst (or in a similar analytical role)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • A solid understanding of IT systems, architecture, and integrations
  • Experience implementing technology solutions into existing systems
  • A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for innovation

Qualifications required:

  • Foundation or Practitioner Certificate in Business Analysis
  • Qualified in business analysis methodologies and techniques
