Job description
We’re looking for a Business Analyst who’s passionate about driving meaningful change, uncovering insights, and helping shape the future of rail travel. If you thrive on solving complex problems and working with diverse teams, this could be your next great move. As a Business Analyst, you’ll play a key role in understanding and analysing business change requirements, assessing their impact, and helping deliver solutions that make a real difference to our customers and colleagues.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with teams to identify areas for improvement and define the scope of change
- Building strong relationships with Project Managers to support successful delivery
- Creating and reviewing requirements, specifications, and business processes
- Conducting logical and physical data analysis of complex systems
- Developing functional and system design specifications
- Designing and executing test plans and scripts, including resource planning
- Supporting technical innovation and bringing stakeholders on the journey
- Evaluating supplier solutions and recommending strategic fits
- Leading unit and user acceptance testing
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business goals
- Understanding how legacy and web-based systems interface
- Championing creative thinking and pushing boundaries to improve customer experience
Ideally, you’ll have:
- Experience in business analysis or a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- A good understanding of IT systems, architectures, and integration
- Experience implementing IT solutions into existing landscapes
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for innovation
