Short Term Planning Traincrew Diagrammer: Shape the Future of Rail with Avanti West Coast!

If so, we might just have the perfect position for you to join us as a Short Term Traincrew Diagrammer based in our Train Planning team.

We have some flexibility around location around Crewe and Birmingham.

As a Traincrew Diagrammer, you will contribute to the traincrew diagramming process, ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency in meeting timetable and passenger service requirements. You will liaise with frontline teams to communicate major diagramming changes and gather feedback.

What you'll do:

• Work with the STP Traincrew Diagramming Manager to publish final diagrams weekly, liaising with frontline staff and roster planning teams.
• Develop and document traincrew diagrams for all Avanti West Coast traincrew, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and compliance with agreements.
• Assist and support both long-term and short-term planning diagrammers to maintain output and cover workload peaks.
• Maintain a comprehensive compendium to ensure diagrams meet company and local obligations.
• Plan and implement special short-term plans arising from emergency revisions to long-term/short-term arrangements.

Who we are looking for:

• Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and able to work accurately to meet deadlines.
• Capable of analyzing data to avoid errors in traincrew diagrams.
• Punctual and able to manage workload effectively.
• Experience in meeting deadlines and working with large amounts of information.
