Job description
Join us to play a pivotal role in advancing our training and competence assessment programs, ensuring our drivers meet the highest standards of safety and performance.
We are seeking a dedicated professional to develop, design, and implement competence assessment and training programs using simulation technology. This role ensures compliance with current Railway Group and Company Standards, obtaining necessary approvals and validations. Additionally, you will develop and manage company-specific systems for Driver Simulators, overseeing their daily operations and maintenance.
The role is based in Crewe with travel to London and Glasgow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Simulator Operations: Ensure smooth daily operations and compliance with standards.
- Innovate Training Programs: Design and deliver engaging simulator-based training and assessments.
- Maintain Precision: Keep accurate, auditable training records.
- Elevate Skills: Train and assess simulator operators to uphold high standards.
- Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with Driver Management and Training teams.
- Grow and Audit: Manage your professional development and participate in safety audits.
